Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Building & Construction and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.61%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040), which rose 4.84% or 1.40 points to trade at 30.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Filing & Packing Materials Co. (SE:2180) added 3.01% or 0.80 points to end at 27.40 and Taleem REIT Fund (SE:4333) was up 2.43% or 0.26 points to 10.98 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati Stationeries Co (SE:4191), which fell 9.98% or 2.63 points to trade at 23.72 at the close. Al Aseel Co Ltd (SE:4012) declined 9.86% or 5.50 points to end at 50.30 and Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050) was down 6.05% or 2.80 points to 43.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 160 to 30 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040) rose to 3-years highs; rising 4.84% or 1.40 to 30.35.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.63% or 0.36 to $56.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.85% or 0.53 to hit $61.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.68% or 9.85 to trade at $1463.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.00% to 4.1278, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 98.215.
