Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financial Services, Cement and Media & Publishing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8100), which rose 6.38% or 0.78 points to trade at 13.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8310) added 5.76% or 0.49 points to end at 9.00 and Alinma Tokio Marine Co (TADAWUL:8312) was up 5.29% or 0.64 points to 12.74 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (TADAWUL:8160), which fell 3.47% or 0.36 points to trade at 10.02 at the close. Arabian Internet and Communications Services Co CSJC (TADAWUL:7202) declined 3.20% or 8.00 points to end at 242.20 and Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4142) was down 3.10% or 1.25 points to 39.05.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 126 to 107 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (TADAWUL:8160) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.47% or 0.36 to 10.02.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.11% or 0.87 to $79.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.94% or 0.77 to hit $82.97 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 8.85 to trade at $1,816.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.14% to 3.99, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 103.95.
