Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Financial Services, Industrial Investment and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140), which rose 2.81% or 2.80 points to trade at 102.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) added 2.74% or 3.60 points to end at 135.00 and National Medical Care Company (SE:4005) was up 2.63% or 1.80 points to 70.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210), which fell 3.57% or 1.50 points to trade at 40.50 at the close. Bawan (SE:1302) declined 3.42% or 1.30 points to end at 36.70 and National Com Bnk (SE:1180) was down 2.45% or 1.80 points to 71.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 135 to 70 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.74% or 1.48 to $83.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.48% or 1.29 to hit $85.79 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.37% or 6.85 to trade at $1838.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.37% to 4.2376, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 96.025.
