Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Financial Services and Retail sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which rose 10.00% or 0.94 points to trade at 10.34 at the close. Meanwhile, Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE:6040) added 5.57% or 0.43 points to end at 8.15 and National Petrochemical Company (SE:2002) was up 3.01% or 0.68 points to 23.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213), which fell 3.91% or 1.75 points to trade at 43.05 at the close. Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070) declined 3.06% or 0.48 points to end at 15.22 and Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) was down 2.85% or 0.95 points to 32.35.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 103 to 82 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 3.92% or 2.16 to $52.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.32% or 1.36 to hit $57.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.60% or 24.45 to trade at $1553.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.08% to 4.1159, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 98.933.
