Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Transport, Building & Construction and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.58%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:2160), which rose 7.69% or 2.25 points to trade at 31.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Maharah for Human Resources (TADAWUL:1831) added 6.19% or 0.42 points to end at 7.21 and Wataniya Insurance Company (TADAWUL:8300) was up 5.82% or 1.24 points to 22.56 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:2200), which fell 5.61% or 9.80 points to trade at 165.00 at the close. Electrical Industries Co (TADAWUL:1303) declined 5.56% or 0.23 points to end at 3.91 and MBC Group CJSC (TADAWUL:4072) was down 5.37% or 3.70 points to 65.20.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 229 to 62 and 11 ended unchanged.

Shares in Wataniya Insurance Company (TADAWUL:8300) rose to 52-week highs; rising 5.82% or 1.24 to 22.56.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.60% or 0.46 to $76.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.51% or 0.41 to hit $80.39 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 6.80 to trade at $2,042.60 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.27% to 4.07, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 103.67.
