Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Agriculture & Food and Media & Publishing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.57% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:4070), which rose 9.90% or 6.10 points to trade at 67.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL:4140) added 5.04% or 1.50 points to end at 31.25 and Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:4009) was up 5.03% or 1.50 points to 31.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Co (TADAWUL:1111), which fell 6.92% or 10.40 points to trade at 139.80 at the close. Eastern Province Cement Co. (TADAWUL:3080) declined 5.30% or 2.20 points to end at 39.30 and Mouwasat Medical Services Company (TADAWUL:4002) was down 5.16% or 9.80 points to 180.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 161 to 81 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Co (TADAWUL:1111) fell to 52-week lows; falling 6.92% or 10.40 to 139.80.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.26% or 0.20 to $76.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.30% or 0.25 to hit $82.57 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 5.35 to trade at $1,822.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.33% to 3.97, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 104.83.
