Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Retail, Cement and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.54% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (TADAWUL:7200), which rose 8.90% or 8.50 points to trade at 104.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8260) added 5.88% or 0.50 points to end at 9.01 and Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4071) was up 3.51% or 4.00 points to 118.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bindawood Holding Co (TADAWUL:4161), which fell 6.56% or 5.00 points to trade at 71.20 at the close. Sadr Logistics Co (TADAWUL:1832) declined 5.27% or 2.55 points to end at 45.80 and Saudi Cement Company (TADAWUL:3030) was down 5.02% or 2.80 points to 53.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 149 to 86 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bindawood Holding Co (TADAWUL:4161) fell to all time lows; losing 6.56% or 5.00 to 71.20.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 3.18% or 2.81 to $85.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 3.23% or 3.04 to hit $91.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.78% or 13.25 to trade at $1,695.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.14% to 3.76, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.05% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 109.27.
