Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Cement, Transport and Media & Publishing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.54%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE:2360), which rose 9.90% or 8.80 points to trade at 97.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Baazeem Trading Co (SE:4051) added 9.85% or 9.00 points to end at 100.40 and Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201) was up 6.95% or 6.40 points to 98.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060), which fell 5.17% or 1.22 points to trade at 22.38 at the close. Sedco Capital REIT (SE:4344) declined 3.43% or 0.35 points to end at 9.85 and Saudi Int Petrochemical Co (SE:2310) was down 3.30% or 0.90 points to 26.35.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 114 to 82 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.37% or 0.87 to $64.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.20% or 0.80 to hit $67.56 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.52% or 26.85 to trade at $1794.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.42% to 4.5260, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.41% at 90.900.
