Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food, Real Estate Development and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.53%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al ELM Information Security Company CJSC (TADAWUL:7203), which rose 6.89% or 15.40 points to trade at 239.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co (TADAWUL:2081) added 6.33% or 6.60 points to end at 110.80 and Nama Chemicals Co. (TADAWUL:2210) was up 3.95% or 1.50 points to 39.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050), which fell 9.96% or 1.44 points to trade at 13.02 at the close. Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (TADAWUL:1214) declined 6.25% or 1.24 points to end at 18.60 and Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (TADAWUL:2380) was down 5.95% or 1.75 points to 27.65.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 178 to 46 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050) fell to 52-week lows; losing 9.96% or 1.44 to 13.02. Shares in Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (TADAWUL:1214) fell to 52-week lows; down 6.25% or 1.24 to 18.60.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.97% or 2.04 to $101.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.97% or 2.13 to hit $106.20 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.81% or 15.70 to trade at $1,932.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.34% to 4.05, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.51% at 101.13.
