Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Financial Services and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.53%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (SE:1214), which rose 10.00% or 1.32 points to trade at 14.52 at the close. Meanwhile, Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) added 9.91% or 0.80 points to end at 8.87 and Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070) was up 9.89% or 3.25 points to 36.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Food Products Co. (SE:2100), which fell 5.59% or 4.00 points to trade at 67.60 at the close. Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030) declined 4.35% or 3.30 points to end at 72.50 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (SE:8150) was down 3.98% or 1.45 points to 35.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 122 to 69 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (SE:1214) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 10.00% or 1.32 to 14.52. Shares in Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070) rose to 3-years highs; rising 9.89% or 3.25 to 36.10.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.36% or 0.58 to $43.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.52% or 0.69 to hit $45.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.70 to trade at $1980.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.12% to 4.4820, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 92.102.
