Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Industrial Investment and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.50%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Bindawood Holding Co (TADAWUL:4161), which rose 9.92% or 0.73 points to trade at 8.09 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (TADAWUL:2270) added 8.21% or 33.00 points to end at 435.00 and ADES Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2382) was up 6.63% or 1.34 points to 21.56 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4071), which fell 9.99% or 23.20 points to trade at 209.00 at the close. Al ELM Information Security Company CJSC (TADAWUL:7203) declined 7.84% or 80.40 points to end at 944.60 and Saudi Research and Marketing Group (TADAWUL:4210) was down 6.60% or 16.60 points to 235.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 179 to 103 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bindawood Holding Co (TADAWUL:4161) rose to 52-week highs; up 9.92% or 0.73 to 8.09. Shares in Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (TADAWUL:2270) rose to all time highs; gaining 8.21% or 33.00 to 435.00.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.41% or 0.32 to $77.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.32% or 0.26 to hit $81.82 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 1.25 to trade at $2,184.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.05% to 4.10, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 102.38.
