Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Financial Services and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.49%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Zamil Industrial Investment Co (SE:2240), which rose 5.53% or 0.94 points to trade at 17.94 at the close. Meanwhile, National Gypsum Company (SE:2090) added 4.27% or 0.50 points to end at 12.20 and Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201) was up 3.80% or 0.29 points to 7.93 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which fell 4.36% or 0.58 points to trade at 12.72 at the close. Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) declined 3.48% or 1.20 points to end at 33.30 and Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) was down 3.38% or 2.80 points to 80.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 108 to 72 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.58% or 1.48 to $55.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.63% or 1.66 to hit $61.44 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 6.65 to trade at $1533.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.37% to 4.1171, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.50% at 98.412.
