Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Petrochemicals and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.49%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 9.97% or 1.72 points to trade at 18.98 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140) added 3.74% or 3.10 points to end at 86.00 and Zahrat Al Waha for Trading Co (SE:3007) was up 3.45% or 1.45 points to 43.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were The Saudi Investment Bank (SE:1030), which fell 3.36% or 0.72 points to trade at 20.72 at the close. Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200) declined 2.43% or 0.26 points to end at 10.44 and Arab National Bank (SE:1080) was down 2.20% or 0.85 points to 37.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 94 to 82 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.87% or 0.45 to $52.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.87% or 0.52 to hit $60.33 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.53% or 6.85 to trade at $1309.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.03% to 4.2835, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 95.482.
