Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Energy & Utilities and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Hokair Group (TADAWUL:1820), which rose 10.00% or 1.34 points to trade at 14.74 at the close. Meanwhile, CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240) added 4.08% or 0.98 points to end at 25.00 and AYYAN Investment Co SJSC (TADAWUL:2140) was up 3.89% or 0.76 points to 20.32 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Wataniya Insurance Company (TADAWUL:8300), which fell 8.81% or 1.50 points to trade at 15.52 at the close. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8310) declined 5.85% or 1.48 points to end at 23.82 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (TADAWUL:8160) was down 3.37% or 0.85 points to 24.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 131 to 90 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Wataniya Insurance Company (TADAWUL:8300) fell to 52-week lows; down 8.81% or 1.50 to 15.52. Shares in Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (TADAWUL:8160) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.37% or 0.85 to 24.40.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 3.15% or 3.47 to $113.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 2.18% or 2.42 to hit $113.54 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 3.23 to trade at $1,849.53 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.32% to 4.02, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 101.92.
