Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Petrochemicals, Energy & Utilities and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.46% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:4170), which rose 9.98% or 3.20 points to trade at 35.25 at the close. Meanwhile, Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) added 9.90% or 4.90 points to end at 54.40 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (TADAWUL:8160) was up 7.33% or 0.78 points to 11.42 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Electricity Company (TADAWUL:5110), which fell 4.16% or 1.06 points to trade at 24.44 at the close. Retal Urban Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4322) declined 2.84% or 3.40 points to end at 116.40 and Saudi Telecom (TADAWUL:7010) was down 2.69% or 1.05 points to 38.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 169 to 77 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Retal Urban Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4322) fell to all time lows; losing 2.84% or 3.40 to 116.40.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.46% or 1.88 to $74.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 2.48% or 2.08 to hit $81.63 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.20% or 3.50 to trade at $1,750.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.54% to 3.93, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 105.70.
