Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Transport, Financial Services and Building & Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040), which rose 7.35% or 6.20 points to trade at 90.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240) added 5.78% or 1.08 points to end at 19.78 and Saudi Pharmaceutical Appliances (TADAWUL:2070) was up 4.46% or 1.70 points to 39.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AYYAN Investment Co SJSC (TADAWUL:2140), which fell 7.05% or 1.34 points to trade at 17.66 at the close. Scientific and Medical Equipment House Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4014) declined 5.38% or 4.50 points to end at 79.20 and Theeb Rent a Car Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4261) was down 3.89% or 2.90 points to 71.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 158 to 102 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) rose to 52-week highs; rising 7.35% or 6.20 to 90.50.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.43% or 0.36 to $82.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.48% or 0.42 to hit $86.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.38% or 7.45 to trade at $1,939.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.49% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 103.11.
