Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Building & Construction, Cement and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030), which rose 9.95% or 1.38 points to trade at 15.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040) added 8.07% or 3.80 points to end at 50.90 and Zahrat Al Waha for Trading Co (SE:3007) was up 7.31% or 5.10 points to 74.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260), which fell 5.86% or 1.54 points to trade at 24.76 at the close. Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160) declined 3.63% or 0.60 points to end at 15.92 and National Metal Manufacturing Co. (SE:2220) was down 3.31% or 1.20 points to 35.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 127 to 60 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040) rose to 3-years highs; rising 8.07% or 3.80 to 50.90. Shares in Zahrat Al Waha for Trading Co (SE:3007) rose to all time highs; up 7.31% or 5.10 to 74.90.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 3.19% or 1.31 to $39.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.75% or 1.19 to hit $42.13 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.46% or 8.75 to trade at $1898.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.37% to 4.3895, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.48% at 93.817.
