Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Financial Services and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.44%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240), which rose 9.89% or 3.10 points to trade at 34.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:2160) added 9.08% or 6.50 points to end at 78.10 and Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) was up 7.14% or 0.01 points to 0.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040), which fell 3.70% or 6.20 points to trade at 161.40 at the close. Saudi Chemical Company (TADAWUL:2230) declined 3.30% or 0.15 points to end at 4.40 and Banque Saudi Fransi (TADAWUL:1050) was down 2.73% or 1.15 points to 41.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 166 to 122 and 10 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.40% or 1.70 to $72.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 2.33% or 1.77 to hit $77.89 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.37% or 7.60 to trade at $2,041.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.20% to 4.10, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 102.17.
