Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food, Energy & Utilities and Retail sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.42%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (SE:7200), which rose 9.97% or 7.70 points to trade at 84.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Methanol Chemicals Company (SE:2001) added 7.50% or 0.84 points to end at 12.04 and AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331) was up 6.42% or 1.44 points to 23.86 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Marke (SE:4006), which fell 4.02% or 1.45 points to trade at 34.60 at the close. Halwani Bros (SE:6001) declined 3.78% or 2.80 points to end at 71.30 and Savola Group (SE:2050) was down 3.35% or 1.80 points to 52.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 98 to 92 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (SE:7200) rose to all time highs; gaining 9.97% or 7.70 to 84.90.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.56% or 0.65 to $41.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.20% or 0.52 to hit $42.64 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.87% or 16.75 to trade at $1932.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.40% to 4.4507, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.51% at 92.578.
