Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Industrial Investment and Building & Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8311), which rose 6.59% or 1.18 points to trade at 19.08 at the close. Meanwhile, The Company for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8010) added 4.44% or 3.40 points to end at 80.00 and National Medical Care Company (TADAWUL:4005) was up 4.44% or 2.90 points to 68.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nahdi Medical Co (TADAWUL:4164), which fell 4.95% or 10.00 points to trade at 192.00 at the close. Taiba Holding Co. (TADAWUL:4090) declined 4.86% or 1.35 points to end at 26.45 and City Cement Co (TADAWUL:3003) was down 4.60% or 1.06 points to 22.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 166 to 67 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Taiba Holding Co. (TADAWUL:4090) fell to 52-week lows; down 4.86% or 1.35 to 26.45.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.11% or 0.09 to $83.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.08% or 0.07 to hit $90.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.55% or 9.25 to trade at $1,680.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.57% to 3.73, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.04% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 110.44.
