Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Multi Investment and Media & Publishing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050), which rose 9.99% or 2.22 points to trade at 24.44 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) added 5.50% or 3.21 points to end at 61.60 and Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) was up 4.41% or 1.21 points to 28.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061), which fell 3.42% or 0.53 points to trade at 14.96 at the close. Middle East Healthcare Co (SE:4009) declined 2.28% or 1.49 points to end at 64.00 and National Gas & Industrialization Co (SE:2080) was down 1.97% or 0.66 points to 32.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 109 to 64 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) rose to 3-years highs; rising 9.99% or 2.22 to 24.44. Shares in Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) rose to 3-years highs; rising 5.50% or 3.21 to 61.60.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.26% or 0.13 to $50.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.65% or 0.36 to hit $56.16 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 0.52 to trade at $1277.32 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.32% to 4.3963, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7498.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 93.64.
