Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Transport and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040), which rose 3.36% or 3.80 points to trade at 116.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Sumou Real Estate Company JSCC (TADAWUL:4323) added 3.31% or 1.30 points to end at 40.60 and Dallah Healthcare Holding Company (TADAWUL:4004) was up 3.30% or 5.20 points to 162.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Anaam International Holding Group (TADAWUL:4061), which fell 7.04% or 0.10 points to trade at 1.32 at the close. Zamil Industrial Investment Co (TADAWUL:2240) declined 3.94% or 1.30 points to end at 31.70 and International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:2082) was down 3.23% or 12.80 points to 383.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 180 to 130 and 30 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.31% or 0.90 to $69.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.21% or 0.87 to hit $73.06 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 8.29 to trade at $2,726.69 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.15% to 3.95, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 106.31.
