Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Transport, Building & Construction and Industrial Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050), which rose 3.97% or 1.60 points to trade at 41.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Herfy Food Services Co (SE:6002) added 2.77% or 1.80 points to end at 66.70 and Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201) was up 1.54% or 2.60 points to 171.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (SE:2380), which fell 9.91% or 3.30 points to trade at 30.00 at the close. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) declined 9.09% or 2.800 points to end at 28.000 and Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160) was down 4.29% or 1.06 points to 23.62.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 176 to 29 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.54% or 2.60 to 171.60.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.73% or 0.62 to $84.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.85% or 0.73 to hit $84.92 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 4.60 to trade at $1788.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.24% to 4.3586, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 93.710.
