Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Agriculture & Food and Multi Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 9.93% or 2.04 points to trade at 22.58 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) added 9.72% or 2.26 points to end at 25.50 and Anb Insurance (SE:8011) was up 7.50% or 1.52 points to 21.78 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030), which fell 9.90% or 1.36 points to trade at 12.38 at the close. Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) declined 4.31% or 3.30 points to end at 73.20 and Middle East Healthcare Co (SE:4009) was down 4.06% or 2.80 points to 66.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 88 to 65 and 27 ended unchanged.
Shares in The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) fell to 5-year lows; falling 9.90% or 1.36 to 12.38.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.39% or 0.19 to $48.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.50% or 0.26 to hit $51.84 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.38% or 4.92 to trade at $1289.08 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.24% to 4.4226, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 93.24.
