Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Cement and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050), which rose 9.17% or 1.46 points to trade at 17.38 at the close. Meanwhile, Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (TADAWUL:4290) added 5.75% or 1.00 points to end at 18.40 and Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8310) was up 5.43% or 0.58 points to 11.26 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Anaam International Holding Group (TADAWUL:4061), which fell 5.18% or 1.45 points to trade at 26.55 at the close. National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:4291) declined 3.99% or 4.60 points to end at 110.80 and Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4142) was down 3.39% or 1.80 points to 51.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 138 to 115 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (TADAWUL:4290) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 5.75% or 1.00 to 18.40.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.18% or 0.88 to $75.18 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.93% or 0.72 to hit $78.44 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 2.55 to trade at $1,993.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.20% to 4.13, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 101.33.
