Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Transport and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:2160), which rose 9.99% or 2.43 points to trade at 26.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:2110) added 9.99% or 6.90 points to end at 76.00 and CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240) was up 9.92% or 3.70 points to 41.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (TADAWUL:1321), which fell 6.73% or 10.40 points to trade at 144.20 at the close. Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (TADAWUL:7200) declined 6.34% or 9.20 points to end at 135.80 and Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8310) was down 6.20% or 0.94 points to 14.22.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 166 to 113 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:2110) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.99% or 6.90 to 76.00. Shares in CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240) rose to 5-year highs; up 9.92% or 3.70 to 41.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.31% or 0.25 to $80.82 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.26% or 0.22 to hit $84.83 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.83% or 18.20 to trade at $2,166.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.49% to 4.05, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 104.11.
