Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Real Estate Development and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150), which rose 9.94% or 1.62 points to trade at 17.92 at the close. Meanwhile, United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) added 9.64% or 1.06 points to end at 12.06 and Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) was up 8.96% or 1.12 points to 13.62 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110), which fell 6.88% or 1.72 points to trade at 23.28 at the close. Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170) declined 4.40% or 1.40 points to end at 30.40 and Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030) was down 4.00% or 1.70 points to 40.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 117 to 57 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110) fell to 52-week lows; down 6.88% or 1.72 to 23.28.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.41% or 0.28 to $68.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.66% or 0.51 to hit $77.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 2.20 to trade at $1202.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.49% to 4.3551, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 95.02.
