Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Multi Investment, Transport and Industrial Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312), which rose 9.82% or 2.41 points to trade at 26.95 at the close. Meanwhile, SABB Takaful (SE:8080) added 4.79% or 1.50 points to end at 32.80 and Basic Chemical Industries Co (SE:1210) was up 4.43% or 1.70 points to 40.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160), which fell 4.38% or 1.25 points to trade at 27.30 at the close. Riyad Bank (SE:1010) declined 4.17% or 0.94 points to end at 21.60 and Mefic REIT (SE:4346) was down 3.77% or 0.30 points to 7.65.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 128 to 65 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in SABB Takaful (SE:8080) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 4.79% or 1.50 to 32.80.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 3.45% or 1.99 to $59.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 3.32% or 2.02 to hit $62.81 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 3.00 to trade at $1728.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.19% to 4.4346, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 92.532.
