Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Retail and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070), which rose 9.88% or 3.00 points to trade at 33.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) added 8.55% or 1.04 points to end at 13.20 and Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (SE:8200) was up 6.62% or 0.59 points to 9.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabian Centres Co (SE:4321), which fell 4.07% or 1.00 points to trade at 23.60 at the close. Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060) declined 3.85% or 2.70 points to end at 67.50 and Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170) was down 3.74% or 1.00 points to 25.75.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 116 to 71 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.86% or 0.35 to $40.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.81% or 0.35 to hit $42.89 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 11.10 to trade at $1813.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.58% to 4.2609, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 96.278.
