Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Building & Construction and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8230), which rose 9.88% or 6.40 points to trade at 71.20 at the close. Meanwhile, National Gas & Industrialization Co (TADAWUL:2080) added 7.14% or 4.20 points to end at 63.00 and Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) was up 7.14% or 0.01 points to 0.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1213), which fell 4.04% or 2.20 points to trade at 52.20 at the close. Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8311) declined 3.06% or 0.44 points to end at 13.94 and Wafrah for Industry and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2100) was down 2.83% or 1.15 points to 39.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 154 to 110 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8230) rose to 52-week lows; up 9.88% or 6.40 to 71.20.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.43% or 0.32 to $73.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.44% or 0.35 to hit $78.53 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.12% or 2.50 to trade at $2,087.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.31% to 4.08, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 103.34.
