Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Petrochemicals, Energy & Utilities and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.25% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL:4140), which rose 5.32% or 2.15 points to trade at 42.55 at the close. Meanwhile, Tanmiah Food Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:2281) added 4.27% or 3.60 points to end at 88.00 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (TADAWUL:8190) was up 4.11% or 0.42 points to 10.64 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banque Saudi Fransi (TADAWUL:1050), which fell 2.57% or 1.25 points to trade at 47.35 at the close. Arabian Internet and Communications Services Co CSJC (TADAWUL:7202) declined 2.44% or 6.60 points to end at 264.40 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240) was down 2.31% or 0.48 points to 20.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 139 to 89 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.57% or 1.29 to $83.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.95% or 0.84 to hit $88.84 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.60% or 10.45 to trade at $1,717.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.48% to 3.74, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 110.04.
