Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food, Media & Publishing and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 9.96% or 1.62 points to trade at 17.88 at the close. Meanwhile, The Qassim Cement Co (SE:3040) added 5.96% or 2.15 points to end at 38.20 and Arabian Cement Co (SE:3010) was up 5.07% or 1.08 points to 22.38 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Savola Group (SE:2050), which fell 9.90% or 3.10 points to trade at 28.20 at the close. Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050) declined 3.93% or 0.90 points to end at 22.00 and Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) was down 3.85% or 1.70 points to 42.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 91 to 83 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.92% or 0.57 to $62.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.25% or 0.90 to hit $73.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.77% or 9.40 to trade at $1233.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.56% to 4.3094, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7511.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.53% at 95.61.
