Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Retail, Financial Services and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 9.84% or 1.84 points to trade at 20.54 at the close. Meanwhile, AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331) added 9.64% or 1.78 points to end at 20.24 and Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370) was up 8.44% or 0.62 points to 7.97 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Middle East Healthcare Co (SE:4009), which fell 10.39% or 8.00 points to trade at 69.00 at the close. The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) declined 10.08% or 1.54 points to end at 13.74 and Red Sea Housing Services Company (SE:4230) was down 4.47% or 0.86 points to 18.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 93 to 72 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) fell to 5-year lows; down 10.08% or 1.54 to 13.74. Shares in Red Sea Housing Services Company (SE:4230) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.47% or 0.86 to 18.40.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.37% or 0.18 to $48.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.17% or 0.09 to hit $51.99 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.38% or 4.90 to trade at $1295.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.41% to 4.4331, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 92.99.
