Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Retail and Building & Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Power and Water Utility Company for Jubail and Yanbu (TADAWUL:2083), which rose 6.59% or 3.30 points to trade at 53.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8310) added 4.44% or 0.44 points to end at 10.34 and Maharah Human Resources Co (TADAWUL:1831) was up 3.61% or 1.90 points to 54.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabian Internet and Communications Services Co CSJC (TADAWUL:7202), which fell 9.09% or 24.00 points to trade at 240.00 at the close. Americana Restaurants (TADAWUL:6015) declined 3.90% or 0.15 points to end at 3.70 and Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:4070) was down 2.79% or 2.40 points to 83.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 146 to 102 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Power and Water Utility Company for Jubail and Yanbu (TADAWUL:2083) rose to all time highs; up 6.59% or 3.30 to 53.40.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.28% or 0.22 to $78.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.12% or 0.10 to hit $85.48 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 1.05 to trade at $1,844.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.10% to 4.01, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 103.90.
