Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Telecoms & IT and Real Estate Development sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320), which rose 9.89% or 1.77 points to trade at 19.66 at the close. Meanwhile, Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) added 6.82% or 1.75 points to end at 27.40 and Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) was up 3.87% or 0.84 points to 22.54 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE:2360), which fell 2.83% or 1.51 points to trade at 51.80 at the close. Saudi Telecom (SE:7010) declined 2.39% or 1.97 points to end at 80.30 and Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290) was down 1.84% or 0.38 points to 20.32.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 98 to 74 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320) rose to 52-week highs; up 9.89% or 1.77 to 19.66.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.27% or 0.17 to $62.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.06% or 0.04 to hit $66.17 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1312.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.14% to 4.6147, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7494.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 89.60.
