Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Telecoms & IT and Building & Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331), which rose 9.90% or 1.36 points to trade at 15.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Taleem REIT Fund (SE:4333) added 6.36% or 0.66 points to end at 11.04 and Riyad REIT (SE:4330) was up 4.91% or 0.40 points to 8.54 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030), which fell 5.00% or 1.00 points to trade at 19.00 at the close. United Electronics Company (SE:4003) declined 3.67% or 2.20 points to end at 57.80 and Musharaka REIT (SE:4335) was down 3.03% or 0.26 points to 8.33.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 126 to 44 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) fell to 5-year lows; down 5.00% or 1.00 to 19.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.93% or 0.64 to $69.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.75% or 0.57 to hit $76.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.18% or 2.20 to trade at $1212.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.15% to 4.3795, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 94.73.
