Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financial Services, Building & Construction and Real Estate Development sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which rose 6.32% or 6.00 points to trade at 101.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) added 5.31% or 1.28 points to end at 25.40 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) was up 4.73% or 0.80 points to 17.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240), which fell 2.71% or 0.62 points to trade at 22.24 at the close. National Medical Care Company (SE:4005) declined 2.56% or 1.50 points to end at 57.20 and Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (SE:2350) was down 1.97% or 0.24 points to 11.96.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 96 to 79 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.32% or 1.37 to $57.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.94% or 1.26 to hit $63.80 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 4.35 to trade at $1393.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.08% to 4.2352, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 96.352.
