Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Financial Services, Media & Publishing and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Marke (SE:4006), which rose 7.63% or 2.80 points to trade at 39.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) added 6.82% or 2.650 points to end at 41.500 and Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SE:2130) was up 6.20% or 1.28 points to 21.92 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320), which fell 2.76% or 0.90 points to trade at 31.70 at the close. Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) declined 2.51% or 0.65 points to end at 25.20 and Baazeem Trading Co (SE:4051) was down 2.45% or 2.60 points to 103.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 109 to 84 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Marke (SE:4006) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 7.63% or 2.80 to 39.50. Shares in Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) rose to 5-year highs; up 6.82% or 2.650 to 41.500. Shares in Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SE:2130) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 6.20% or 1.28 to 21.92.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.63% or 1.07 to $64.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.43% or 0.99 to hit $68.23 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.65% or 11.25 to trade at $1731.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.19% to 4.4732, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 91.843.
