Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food, Petrochemicals and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050), which rose 9.39% or 2.43 points to trade at 28.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300) added 7.18% or 0.64 points to end at 9.55 and Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) was up 4.92% or 3.15 points to 67.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300), which fell 3.95% or 1.14 points to trade at 27.75 at the close. Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060) declined 3.09% or 1.48 points to end at 46.40 and Saudi Public Transport Co. (SE:4040) was down 2.71% or 0.42 points to 15.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 101 to 65 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) rose to 3-years highs; rising 9.39% or 2.43 to 28.30. Shares in Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) rose to all time highs; rising 4.92% or 3.15 to 67.20.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.39% or 0.25 to $64.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $69.94 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.13% or 15.10 to trade at $1351.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.46% to 4.6323, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.60% at 89.34.
