Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Agriculture & Food and Building & Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were United Wire Factories Company (SE:1301), which rose 10.00% or 3.50 points to trade at 38.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Hokair Group (SE:1820) added 10.00% or 1.98 points to end at 21.78 and Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370) was up 10.00% or 1.54 points to 16.94 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201), which fell 10.00% or 13.00 points to trade at 117.00 at the close. Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE:2360) declined 8.71% or 10.80 points to end at 113.20 and Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030) was down 6.62% or 10.00 points to 141.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 101 to 90 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in United Wire Factories Company (SE:1301) rose to 5-year highs; rising 10.00% or 3.50 to 38.50.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.72% or 0.43 to $59.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.25% or 0.16 to hit $63.19 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.19% or 21.40 to trade at $1777.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.57% to 4.5140, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7507.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.56% at 91.007.
