Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Transport and Industrial Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060), which rose 9.76% or 1.53 points to trade at 17.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) added 5.75% or 0.77 points to end at 14.15 and Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) was up 2.99% or 1.01 points to 34.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150), which fell 6.87% or 2.33 points to trade at 31.60 at the close. SABB Takaful (SE:8080) declined 4.58% or 2.25 points to end at 46.90 and Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) was down 3.83% or 2.23 points to 56.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 87 to 77.
Shares in Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) rose to 52-week highs; rising 2.99% or 1.01 to 34.80.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.50% or 0.30 to $60.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.04% or 0.03 to hit $63.92 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.72% or 8.50 to trade at $1177.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.36% to 4.2168, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.19% at 95.25.
