Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Petrochemicals and Cement sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.17%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140), which rose 10.00% or 8.80 points to trade at 96.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Lazurde for Jewelry Co (SE:4011) added 10.00% or 1.64 points to end at 18.04 and Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201) was up 10.00% or 9.20 points to 101.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were City Cement Co (SE:3003), which fell 4.51% or 1.10 points to trade at 23.30 at the close. Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) declined 2.87% or 1.05 points to end at 35.55 and Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260) was down 1.94% or 0.46 points to 23.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 101 to 92 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140) rose to 52-week highs; rising 10.00% or 8.80 to 96.80. Shares in Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201) rose to all time highs; rising 10.00% or 9.20 to 101.20.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.68% or 0.28 to $41.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.48% or 0.21 to hit $44.01 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.77% or 14.25 to trade at $1875.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.14% to 4.4230, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 92.957.
