Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Media & Publishing and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.16% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (TADAWUL:2300), which rose 4.89% or 3.50 points to trade at 75.10 at the close. Meanwhile, CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240) added 3.96% or 1.30 points to end at 34.10 and Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL:2370) was up 3.46% or 1.10 points to 32.85 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (TADAWUL:1321), which fell 5.84% or 9.00 points to trade at 145.00 at the close. Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4142) declined 5.58% or 5.90 points to end at 99.90 and Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:4009) was down 3.78% or 2.90 points to 73.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 142 to 140 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.75% or 0.58 to $78.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.73% or 0.60 to hit $82.44 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.63% or 14.70 to trade at $2,349.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.09% to 4.07, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 104.62.
