Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Cement and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Andalus Property Co SJSC (TADAWUL:4320), which rose 9.96% or 2.10 points to trade at 23.18 at the close. Meanwhile, Hail Cement Company (TADAWUL:3001) added 9.88% or 1.14 points to end at 12.68 and Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) was up 7.14% or 0.01 points to 0.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sahara International Petrochemical Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2310), which fell 6.74% or 2.40 points to trade at 33.20 at the close. Filing & Packing Materials Co. (TADAWUL:2180) declined 5.11% or 2.55 points to end at 47.35 and Al Kathiri Holding Co (TADAWUL:3008) was down 4.87% or 0.13 points to 2.54.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 175 to 85 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.66% or 1.42 to $86.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.36% or 1.22 to hit $91.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.75% or 33.85 to trade at $1,969.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.22% to 3.96, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 106.16.
