Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Energy & Utilities and Media & Publishing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (TADAWUL:8150), which rose 8.77% or 1.00 points to trade at 12.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8260) added 6.41% or 0.49 points to end at 8.13 and Wataniya Insurance Company (TADAWUL:8300) was up 5.60% or 0.88 points to 16.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Middle East Paper Co (TADAWUL:1202), which fell 4.73% or 1.50 points to trade at 30.20 at the close. Al Hokair Group (TADAWUL:1820) declined 3.95% or 0.96 points to end at 23.36 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240) was down 3.28% or 0.62 points to 18.26.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 126 to 122 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.60% or 0.47 to $77.43 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.66% or 0.56 to hit $83.94 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 2.90 to trade at $1,920.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.10% to 4.07, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 102.04.
