Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Cement, Media & Publishing and Industrial Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160), which rose 9.91% or 3.75 points to trade at 41.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) added 8.64% or 4.15 points to end at 52.20 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) was up 5.68% or 2.05 points to 38.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Yanbu National Petrochemical Co (SE:2290), which fell 4.76% or 4.00 points to trade at 80.00 at the close. Sahara International Petrochemical Company SJSC (SE:2310) declined 2.35% or 1.05 points to end at 43.55 and Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040) was down 2.20% or 1.30 points to 57.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 104 to 92 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) rose to 5-year highs; up 9.91% or 3.75 to 41.60.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.00% or 0.82 to $82.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.62% or 0.53 to hit $85.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 1.30 to trade at $1769.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.03% to 4.3522, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 93.972.
