Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Building & Construction, Industrial Investment and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270), which rose 9.95% or 2.18 points to trade at 24.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) added 9.93% or 2.02 points to end at 22.36 and Saudi Chemical Company (SE:2230) was up 9.90% or 3.05 points to 33.85 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050), which fell 8.90% or 4.60 points to trade at 47.10 at the close. Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (SE:4130) declined 8.29% or 2.95 points to end at 32.65 and Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) was down 7.96% or 4.10 points to 47.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 124 to 70 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.95% or 2.18 to 24.10. Shares in Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.93% or 2.02 to 22.36. Shares in Saudi Chemical Company (SE:2230) rose to 3-years highs; rising 9.90% or 3.05 to 33.85.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.42% or 1.31 to $39.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 3.03% or 1.23 to hit $41.76 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 8.85 to trade at $1975.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.00% to 4.4427, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 92.953.
