Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Cement and Retail sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Gypsum Company (TADAWUL:2090), which rose 9.86% or 2.36 points to trade at 26.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8310) added 7.99% or 0.88 points to end at 11.90 and Saudi Fisheries Co. (TADAWUL:6050) was up 5.36% or 1.70 points to 33.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Methanol Chemicals Company (TADAWUL:2001), which fell 7.37% or 2.65 points to trade at 33.30 at the close. Saudi Industrial Investment Group (TADAWUL:2250) declined 5.19% or 1.45 points to end at 26.50 and Alujain Corporation (TADAWUL:2170) was down 4.88% or 2.70 points to 52.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 148 to 77 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Alujain Corporation (TADAWUL:2170) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.88% or 2.70 to 52.60.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 4.47% or 4.85 to $103.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 5.30% or 6.02 to hit $107.48 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.54% or 27.75 to trade at $1,773.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 1.46% to 3.85, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.04% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.31% at 106.28.
