Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate Development, Agriculture & Food and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which rose 10.00% or 1.12 points to trade at 12.32 at the close. Meanwhile, Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) added 6.67% or 1.40 points to end at 22.40 and The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) was up 4.30% or 0.98 points to 23.78 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210), which fell 6.29% or 1.90 points to trade at 28.30 at the close. Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200) declined 5.30% or 1.60 points to end at 28.60 and Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) was down 3.61% or 0.84 points to 22.44.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 106 to 65 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.77% or 0.52 to $66.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.04% or 0.75 to hit $71.41 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.20% or 2.50 to trade at $1224.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.29% to 4.3606, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 94.98.
