Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Industrial Investment and Media & Publishing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8180), which rose 9.93% or 1.60 points to trade at 17.72 at the close. Meanwhile, Naqi Water Co (TADAWUL:2282) added 3.61% or 3.10 points to end at 89.00 and AlJazira Mawten REIT (TADAWUL:4331) was up 3.58% or 0.60 points to 17.38 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (TADAWUL:6060), which fell 8.14% or 2.14 points to trade at 24.16 at the close. Saudi Electricity Company (TADAWUL:5110) declined 6.06% or 1.48 points to end at 22.94 and Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:4070) was down 4.04% or 0.76 points to 18.04.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 157 to 108 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.49% or 1.10 to $72.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.39% or 1.08 to hit $76.36 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.40 to trade at $2,042.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.24% to 4.12, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 101.21.
